The competition will take place in three rounds. The requirements of each of the rounds are explained below.

REQUIREMENTS FOR INITIAL ENTRY : SUBMIT BY 8th SEPTEMBER 2013 (EXTENDED to 11th SEPTEMBER)
The initial entry must be in the form of a Microsoft Word document. Email the document to competition@globaldiscoveryacademy.com .
The document must consist of the following sections:

Which area of social concern does my app address? (Explain what problem your app solves and why your app is important.)

What will my app do? (Define the goal of your app. What are the functions your app will perform?)

Who is the end user that will find my app helpful? (Identify a specific person or group of people what will use your app.)

What are the needs of my app's end user? (Define the specific features that the user you identified needs. Interview your end user and document your questions and answers.)

My design. (Draw a diagram representing what your app will look like. Explain how your app will be operated. Draw a flowchart to represent the functionality of your app. If your app has multiple screens, show that as well.)
